I grew up in Hackney, East London, for most of my life. It’s been a whirlwind seeing how much this once named as a deadly borough is now one of the most central hubs to live in the whole of London.
My earliest childhood memories include wrestling many of my brothers during Wrestlemania on the weekends, and exchanging Pokemon cards on my door step to the locals in my area. I adored my childhood. But growing up with a bunch of boys (five) and being the youngest and only girl, meant that I always had to fight – positively – to get my point across.
And that’s where my love of story telling came from; whether it was making the extra effort with homework and essays at school, to being able to be more hands-on and creative making my own magazine at college, to flying to different countries and filming documentaries whilst completing my degree; anything that I could expressively create and present was something I became seriously passionate about, and still am. My online journey began on my old blog, here.
