As my favorite month of the year draws to a close, I love to reflect on key things I’ve learned before what I can only describe as such a remarkable age to celebrate. It may not be a big age for some, but it certainly has been for me! I’ve had the best year so far, and sometimes feel bad for it, but I shouldn’t.
Anyway, here goes it:
Happy birthday to my blog! (Thanks, WordPress for the reminder). It’s been a great year for blogging. I released thisishannahajala.com at a time where I felt quite isolated, and it’s honestly been one of the best decisions ever! Here are some things I’ve learned along the way:
It’s a question I’ve been asking myself since the start of this year. I’m entering my third year of working in broadcasting full time, and must say; what an incredible journey it’s been! From having 6am starts, to all-nighters, to hours too long to even classify as overtime.
I hear that it’s the world’s largest broadcasting corporation, reaching worldwide audiences and producing content around the clock, 365 days a year. You can imagine how pleasantly shocked and humbled I was to be able to have been gifted this opportunity only 2 weeks after graduating in 2014. Since then, I’ve learnt super key points that I’ve experienced over the past 2 years..
